Day 3: We Leave Andorra and "McDrive"-thru France into Switzerland

We left Andorra without getting our passports stamped, as the woman at the tourist office said “Thees ees not posseeeble”. Okay then. Our little white lion then literally scaled the Pyrenees with us enjoying beautiful views of the steep mountains, tiny villages and stone castle ruins. We managed to breathe the fresh mountain air the few times we stopped to make pictures and when we stopped to have lunch by a mountain stream.
Otherwise the day was driving, driving and more driving. All by Waffle of course, Mirm is still a little nervous to drive on a highway since they don’t seem to have those in New Zealand (teheheh). We crossed two mountain ranges, the Pyrenees and the French Alps. The landscape changed substantially as well, the steep green Pyrenees with mountain hamlets and ski resorts to the fields of olives and fruit trees of southern France.

We arrived in Switzerland and had a small culture shock when we couldn't afford anything in the McDonalds. Then we had a weather shock when we got out of the car at the campground and realized how cold it was!
